This excursion starts in the afternoon. Gozo with a difference as seen at sunset when you can enjoy the serenity and natural beauty of Malta’s sister island. The tour starts with a visit to Ggantija Temples. The megaliths are the first eamples of built architecture and the world’s oldest free-standing monuments. they are considerably older than the Pyramids of Egypt. We then walk around the citadel situated in the centre of the island, from which walls you can admire the soft hues of Gozo’s undulating countryside. As the day draws to a close, we go down spectacular winding road to Dweijra – the ideal location for watching the sun set below the horizon. To round off the evening, a relaxing dinner in one of Gozo’s restaurants.
